Case Study - Global Reach, Local Touch: The Role of GeoDNS in eCommerce Expansion

Auto-Renewal

In today's fast-moving world, it's easy to forget when your subscription and other related products expire. Let's be honest. It happens to the best of us. But sometimes this can lead to some unpleasant incidents. The unrenewed subscription, for example, can lead to non-working services. In the event of such circumstances, your customers won't be flattered, no doubt about that.

For that reason, we would like to introduce our "Auto-Renewal" feature. With this option, you can prevent the mentioned scenarios above.

The concept

The main idea is quite simple, but at the same time, it can bring you only benefits. “Auto-Renewal” is a service that automatically renewals your products without having to take action on your side. "Auto-Renewal" can be enabled for three different products (separately and/or collectively): DNS Hosting packages, Domain names, SSL Certificates. Once activated for a certain product, you can stop worrying if you missed renewing the product. "Auto-renewal" will do all the work.

How to enable it?

The first thing you need to do is to add and verify your default payment method. To do so, navigate to the header section, go to the "Billing" drop-down menu and choose "Payments Methods and Auto-renewal". The supported payment methods are PayPal (USD/EUR), Credit Card, and Account Balance. To add a payment method, choose the desired one from the "Add new payment method" menu, click on the "CREATE" button and follow the instructions.

If your payment method is already verified, you can proceed with the enabling of this feature. Once you scroll down the page, you will see three tables with the available products. The content will inform you whether the Auto-Renewal is activated for the relevant product and it will provide you with a link for enabling it.

Important notes

"Auto-Renewal" is disabled by default. Once enabled, it can be disabled at any time.

DNS hosting plans can be automatically renewed only for the shortest possible subscription.
